- Conducting scientific research for the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a  member of the Department of Engineering.  

- Participated in training courses regarding underwater surveying methods in Skopelos, Magnesia, Greece
- Interned at Ikion Diving/Sporades Diving during the inaugural year of the first underwater museum in Europe (Peristera wreck)  

- Moderated virtual conferences regarding the harmonization of scientific diving within the European  Union.  

- Used methods of photogrammetry to document underwater cultural heritage.

- Partnered with colleagues from the American Farm School at a shelter for  unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in Greece.  

- Organized bi-monthly activities including sporting activities, art projects and English lessons  for the minors.  

  - Led a two-month long photography seminar with six boys from the shelter that concluded in a  public photography exhibition held at The Child’s Asylum of Thessaloniki. 


Rooted in Community - Asheville, North Carolina Fall 2016 
- Fall break trip spent collaborating alongside the Roots Foundation to promote nutrition,  sustainable and collaborative agricultural education amongst elementary school students. 
- Built a community garden at Verner Early Childhood Education Center.

- Worked with Americus Mennonite Fellowship, Casa Alterna Community, Koinonia Farm and the Fuller  Center in southern Georgia for one week.

- Represented the American Farm School in a two-day seminar concerning diplomacy and  geo-politics in the Balkans region.  

North Carolina Environmental Justice Network Conference Fall 2016  - Invited to a weekend-long conference analyzing NC environmental justice strategies and  intersectional ties between social and environmental justice initiatives.  

- Studied grassroots and state-level initiatives for improving the environment.

 

Student Climate Conservation Congress (SC³) Summer 2011  - Selected to participate in a week-long collaboration with the Green Schools Alliance and the  U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the National Conservation Training Center in West Virginia.  - Joined workshops, lectures and various projects centered on the themes of environmental  conservation.
